Metropolitan Properties, a Multi-family Property Management Company is looking for a skilled, experienced leasing consultant for a Floating Leasing Consultant. The position will cover properties in the Pikesville & Owings Mills, MD area.
We are looking for an inviting, motivated, and excited leasing professional with either leasing or sales background. We offer great commission incentives and quality benefits.
Responsibilities
The Leasing Consultant's duties and desired characteristics include but are not limited:
- Greet prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner.
- Perform external property marketing and community outreach.
- Maintain awareness of local market trends and conditions.
- Follow through on leads in according with company policies and procedures.
- Complete all portions of the lease applications, including performing credit and background verification and notifying prospective residents of results, in an accurate and professional manner.
- Physically inspect property on a daily basis and report any service needs to the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to make sure that the buildings, grounds, and amenity areas are at their highest level of quality.
- Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to leasing and managing apartments.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 1 years in direct leasing
- Exceptional closing skills
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to work as a team player with enthusiasm and self-motivation.
- Outstanding verbal communication skills.
- Great organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook.
- This is a five-day work week, which may include Saturday and Sunday along with 3 days during the week.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
