What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper & Property Care Coordinator position at Multi-Family Matters?
We are hiring a dependable, detail-oriented housekeeper to clean, inspect, and maintain multiple Airbnb and vacation-rental properties.
Schedule:
- Minimum 30 hours per week
- Generally five days per week, from 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
- Friday, Sunday, and Monday availability is required
- Some holidays and after-hours emergencies may be required
Pay:
- $15 per hour during the first month of training
- Increase to $20 per hour after training and once able to manage the position independently
- Approved after-hours emergency work pays $25 per hour
- Company cell phone provided
- Work-related fuel reimbursed weekly with mileage records or gas receipts
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare properties before guest check-in
- Wash and organize laundry, make beds, and restock supplies
- Inspect properties and report damage, missing items, or safety concerns
- Check locks, remotes, batteries, lightbulbs, televisions, Wi-Fi, and subscriptions
- Look for water leaks or unusual utility usage
- Clean grills and maintain hot tubs
- Submit photos or complete a video inspection after each cleaning
- Assist with deep cleaning, errands, vehicle or boat cleaning, plant care, gardening, and other approved property-related tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Availability for at least 30 hours weekly
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and transport laundry and cleaning supplies
- Willingness to travel between properties
- Housekeeping or vacation-rental experience preferred
