Job Overview
The Plumbing Foreman is responsible for overseeing plumbing projects, managing a team of plumbers, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Typical Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of plumbing personnel on job sites.
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with plumbing codes.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior plumbers and apprentices.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and suppliers regarding project updates.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise on the job site promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and labor hours.
High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
