Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Assistant Spray Foam Technician to support our Lead Technician in applying polyurethane foam insulation to residential and commercial buildings. This position involves physical labor, climbing ladders an scaffolds, attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety protocols while assisting on job sites across the region.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing job sites for spray foam installation (masking, taping, covering surfaces).
• Operate equipment under the direction of the Lead Technician.
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment at job sites.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and use protective gear as required.
• Help with set-up and breakdown of spray foam equipment.
• Assist in maintaining spray foam machinery and vehicles.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
• Travel to job sites within a 100-mile radius of Kingsport, TN.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Technician.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (required).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Prior construction or insulation experience a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable working on ladders, rooftops, or in crawl spaces.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and a team player.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 50 per week
