Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including phone and community outreach, to identify their insurance needs.
- Conduct detailed analysis of client information to recommend suitable insurance products, ensuring clarity and transparency in all communications.
- Negotiate policy terms and coverage options with clients, balancing their needs with company guidelines to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, maintaining accurate records, and following up on policy inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies that attract new clients and retain existing customers through personalized service.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, explaining policy details, and assisting clients throughout the entire sales process.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, including HIPAA compliance when handling sensitive health information, to ensure ethical and legal standards are met.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments, demonstrating a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. (preferred but not required)
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Previous experience in insurance sales or related fields is preferred but not required; a passion for helping others is essential.
- Excellent communication skills that foster trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
