Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking custodian to maintain cleanliness and organization in our automotive repair shop. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, keeping a clean and safe environment for technicians and ensuring the shop, service drive is safe and tidy.
Schedule: To be discussed during interview
Duties also include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring lot is organized, clean, and free of debris
- Arranging and parking vehicles in designated lot areas
- Maintaining keys
- Follow all Company procedures and standards
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management
- Washing cars and trucks
Qualifications for this job:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work outside for extended periods of time
- Able to withstand exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust
- Valid Driver’s license & ability to operate an automobile
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Must be able to pass background screening, motor vehicle check, and drug test
