Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using EdgeServ POS system.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor, demonstrating excellent guest relations.
- Upsell menu items, daily specials, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering processes, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Support food preparation or kitchen staff when needed, demonstrating teamwork in a fast-paced environment like fine dining or nightlife settings.
- Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive relationships throughout their visit.
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience is highly preferred.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of the food industry’s best practices in serving, upselling, and guest relations enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
