Skilled RVTs are vital to the success of our practice. We are looking for licensed technicians with a minimum of 1 year of veterinary assistant and/or technician experience who are looking for an exciting opportunity to care for patients and clients in our progressive hospital. We have the latest in technology including digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, laser therapy and laser surgery, shockwave therapy, and in-hospital laboratory among other equipment. We offer small animal/exotic pain management, general surgery, dental services, wellness, chronic disease management, and diagnostic services in addition to acupuncture, chiropractic, and other modalities of care.
Responsibilities and Duties
Depending on level of experience, duties may include but are not limited to: nursing care, placing IV catheters, administering medications, wound and bandage care, assisting and monitoring surgeries and anesthetic procedures, x-rays, dental cleanings and x-rays, administering laser therapy, among others.
Qualifications and Skills
One year minimum veterinary assistant/technician experience required.
