Internship

Muller Engineering is seeking qualified candidates at the Intern level. This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and highly skilled individual who wishes to be part of our expanding team. We are seeking candidates who want to work in a creative and collaborative environment to help deliver Muller’s numerous projects throughout Colorado.

Muller Engineering Company is located in Lakewood, CO, where team members have the opportunity to collaborate in person through a hybrid work schedule. We welcome applicants from across the continental United States who are willing to relocate.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparation of studies, reports, plans, and quantities for a wide variety of civil engineering projects.
• Assist engineers in the design of numerous projects.
• Provide project meeting support which includes meeting notes, agenda preparation, action items tracking and follow-ups.
• Perform general day to day tasks as needed, including CAD work and field observations.
• Gain knowledge and experience with MicroStation/OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or and other applicable software common to the field of transportation engineering.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Education And/or Experience Requirements

• Enrolled in civil engineering program at an ABET accredited college or university.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills.
• A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment and creating designs that support our client’s overall project goals.
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office products is a plus.

Salary range for this position is: $20-23/hour dependent on experience and anticipated graduation date.
