Mullen High School is seeking to hire an energetic, committed individual to serve as the Advancement and Engagement Coordinator. This is a full-time, at-will opening.
The Advancement & Engagement Coordinator is a key member of the Advancement team at Mullen High School,
providing essential support for the school’s fundraising, alumni engagement, and donor stewardship efforts. This role ensures strong operational execution across the Annual Fund and major gift program support functions, with a focus on data integrity, donor communications, and event coordination. Success in this role will be measured by the timely execution of Annual Fund activities, accuracy and completeness of donor data, consistent and high-quality donor communications, and effective support of advancement events and alumni engagement initiatives.
The role and work is an extension of our Lasallian Catholic mission.

Salary Range: $51,200- $61,272 depending on education and background
Mullen reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range

Essential Job Functions include:
Annual Fund & Fundraising Support
- Support the execution of Annual Fund campaigns, including appeals, giving days, and
- stewardship initiatives aligned with Mullen’s mission
- Assist in preparing campaign materials, donor communications, and outreach lists
- Provide administrative and logistical support for major gift prospect engagement, including
- research and briefing preparation
Donor Relations & Stewardship
- Assist with donor acknowledgment processes, ensuring timely and accurate thank-you communications
- Support stewardship efforts for alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends of the school
- Maintain consistent communication records by tracking donor engagement touchpoints
Database Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate donor records in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and consistency
- Enter gifts, event participation, and donor interactions in a timely and accurate manner
- Support reporting needs for Annual Fund performance, alumni participation, and campaign tracking
- Assist in reconciling donor and event data to ensure accuracy across systems
Events & Community Engagement
- Assist in planning and executing fundraising and advancement events — donor receptions, alumni gatherings, and school community events
- Manage post-event processes including accurate data entry of attendance and donor interactions
- Support event-related gift tracking and mailing list management for advancement events
Alumni Engagement
- Support the Alumni Manager with outreach initiatives and engagement activities
- Assist in maintaining communication with recent graduates to encourage participation in alumni programs
- Contribute to digital and social media outreach efforts aimed at strengthening alumni connection
Technology & Tools
- Proficiency with Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge or a comparable CRM platform
- Proficiency with Canva for basic design of donor materials and communications
- Experience with email marketing platforms
- Comfortable with social media platforms for alumni outreach and engagement
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, nonprofit management, marketing, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in administrative support, nonprofit development, or communications preferred
- High level of discretion and professionalism — this role handles sensitive donor data and represents the school to external stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to work occasional evening and weekend events
