Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable new to the trade Carpenter / Laborer of any skill level to join our construction team. This role involves performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks with guidance on commercial and residential projects with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install building components using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute projects accurately
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, and roofing tasks
- Assist with concrete forming, masonry, plastering, and rebar installation
- Conduct restoration work including water damage remediation and mold cleanup
- Fabricate custom components using woodworking techniques
- Handle heavy lifting and assist in the movement of materials around construction sites
- Install fixtures, hardware, and other building elements according to specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and proper use of tools
