Duties
- Clear and clean tables quickly and thoroughly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space.
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and delivering condiments or utensils as needed.
- Safely handle food running duties by delivering dishes from the kitchen to guests efficiently while maintaining food safety standards.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and preparation tasks when required, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies, trays, or equipment using safe lifting practices.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely food delivery and guest service needs.
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms for order accuracy and efficient billing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation practices.
- Experience with banquet or large event service is a plus but not mandatory.
