Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant. We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, compassionate, polite, and truly enjoys supporting patients and staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Please Note: This position includes a 30-day probationary period to evaluate performance, professionalism, and overall fit within our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical duties such as rooming patients, taking vital signs, EKGs, administering injections, assisting with procedures, and EMR documentation
- Work closely with providers and nursing staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and manage clinical supply inventory
- Ensure compliance with clinic protocols, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations
- Provide compassionate, polite, and respectful care to all patients
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and enthusiasm for patient care and team success
- Able to work Tuesday-Friday (8am-5pm) and Saturday (9 am-1 pm)
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification (AAMA, AMT, or equivalent)
- Leadership or supervisory experience is highly preferred
- Proficient in using EMR systems (AdvancedMD)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Must be compassionate, polite, and enthusiastic about patient care and team leadership
- Must be able to pass a background check
