Job Summary

Duties
- Quickly retrieve prepared dishes from the kitchen and deliver them to tables with efficiency and professionalism
- Ensure each order is accurate, complete, and presented beautifully before serving to guests
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any special requests or modifications
- Assist with plating and food presentation to uphold quality standards and visual appeal
- Support the front-of-house team by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and maintaining cleanliness throughout service
- Organize, pre-rinse, wash, sanitize, dry, and properly store all dishware throughout operations
- Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment in the back of house
- Monitor food safety protocols during handling and transportation of dishes to ensure compliance with health standards
- Collaborate with servers, chefs, and management to streamline service flow during busy periods
- Arrive on time to work with a positive attitude
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation, or culinary settings enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Experience in banquet service or catering adds valuable skills for managing larger groups or special events
- Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and providing excellent customer service
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards ensures proper procedures are followed at all times
- Hospitality background or hotel experience is a plus for understanding guest expectations and service excellence
