Job Summary

In this lively role, you will act as the crucial link between the kitchen and the front of house, ensuring that all food reaches our guests promptly, accurately, and at the highest quality standards. Duties

• Quickly retrieve prepared dishes from the kitchen and deliver them to tables with efficiency and professionalism
• Ensure each order is accurate, complete, and presented beautifully before serving to guests
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any special requests or modifications
• Assist with plating and food presentation to uphold quality standards and visual appeal
• Support the front-of-house team by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and maintaining cleanliness throughout service
• Organize, pre-rinse, wash, sanitize, dry, and properly store all dishware throughout operations
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment in the back of house
• Monitor food safety protocols during handling and transportation of dishes to ensure compliance with health standards
• Collaborate with servers, chefs, and management to streamline service flow during busy periods
• Arrive on time to work with a positive attitude
• Other duties as assigned

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation, or culinary settings enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Experience in banquet service or catering adds valuable skills for managing larger groups or special events
• Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and providing excellent customer service
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards ensures proper procedures are followed at all times
• Hospitality background or hotel experience is a plus for understanding guest expectations and service excellence
