$22.98 - $26.43 per hr. (depending on experience)
Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District (District) is recruiting for multiple full-time seasonal utility worker positions.
Under the direction of the department supervisor, this position performs various manual labor tasks, assisting with the routine maintenance of District-owned facilities, grounds, and vehicles, as well as any other assigned tasks. This position uses a variety of hand-powered tools and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The following is a list of key duties and responsibilities for this position.
- Performs general maintenance of District Facilities and grounds, including mowing, weeding, pressure washing, painting, janitorial work, scrubbing, basic carpentry and mechanical repairs, and other duties as assigned.
- Operate small power tools necessary to maintain water and wastewater systems.
- Maintain a safe work environment, including utilizing appropriate safety devices and equipment.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Work environment: Duties are primarily performed outdoors, requiring physical effort to perform manual labor. Lifting more than 50 pounds is required.
Requirements:
Applicants must have a valid Washington State driver’s license and a safe driving record. Driving record abstracts are required before the first day of employment.
