About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Coordinator/Receptionist to join our ambulatory surgery center team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients by helping and guiding them through check-in and check-out while keeping the front office running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
- Welcome patients and visitors with a warm, professional attitude
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and coordinate referrals
- Handle patient check-in and check-out, including collecting co-pays and balances
- Verify insurance and prepare daily billing packets
- Maintain accurate patient records and charts
- Prepare charts and paperwork for upcoming appointments
- Enter and update information in the EMR system
- Coordinate schedules with referring offices and anesthesia providers
- Keep the front desk and waiting area clean and organized
- Manage office supplies and place orders when needed
- Assist the back office team when needed (cross-training provided)
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Rotating Saturdays required
- Must be available for both opening and closing shifts
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Experience working with EMR systems
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment
- Prior surgery center experience is a plus, but not required
