Duties

• Provide professional grooming and bathing services tailored to each pet’s breed, size, and coat type
• Handle animals with gentle restraint techniques to ensure safety and comfort during grooming procedures
• Trim pet nails and perform basic pet care tasks such as ear cleaning and coat brushing
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to discuss grooming preferences and address any special needs
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use
• Assist with animal handling duties such as kennel cleaning, pet sitting, or animal restraint when needed
• Support team members by providing excellent customer service and fostering a positive atmosphere for pets and owners alike

Requirements

• Prior experience in pet grooming, bathing, or animal handling is highly preferred
• Knowledge of dog training, veterinary procedures, or veterinary technician/assistant experience is a plus
• Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and pet coat styling is essential
• Ability to handle animals safely during grooming sessions, including heavy lifting of larger pets when necessary
• Strong communication skills to engage with pet owners confidently and professionally
• Experience with kennel management or pet sitting is advantageous
• A genuine love for animals combined with a proactive attitude and attention to detail
• Must be able to Work 1-2 Saturday's a month.
• Part time work for 1-2 days a week off season, 2-4 days during season. Days and hours are flexible.
