Responsibilities
- Lead daily food truck operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
- Manage inventory control by tracking supplies, ordering ingredients, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability
- Supervise staff training and development in food handling, customer service, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and safety protocols
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales reports
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff effectively to meet customer demand during peak hours
- Support marketing efforts by creating engaging customer interactions and fostering community relationships
- Monitor budget adherence and assist in cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency
- Foster a positive team environment through leadership, motivation, and clear communication
Experience
- Proven management experience within the food service industry, particularly in quick service or fast-food environments
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Demonstrated supervising experience with staff training & development in hospitality or restaurant settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting
- Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures
- Experience working in casual dining or fine dining establishments is preferred but not required
- Prior experience with catering or banquet services is a plus
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform shift management efficiently
- Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
