Summary and Objective:

The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for leading the Supply Chain and Warehousing function within the company. This role leads the strategic and operational functions of purchasing, logistics, inventory management, forecasting, capacity planning, and master scheduling. Serves as a member of the leadership team to ensure the timely execution of production goals while driving operational and process excellence.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads continuous improvement efforts across all supply chain activities, including purchasing, production planning and scheduling, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
  • Improves performance for all stakeholders by actively building relationships with all levels of the workforce, suppliers, distributors, vendors, customers, and partners to help anticipate, identify, and resolve problems and address potential risks.
  • Oversees and actively engages with the team on effective and accurate estimating of future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, establishing inventory re-order points, developing forecast models, planning, research and analysis, supplier assessments, contract negotiations, and purchase orders processing, and all other company purchasing responsibilities.
  • Leads team using analytical and sales data to manage organizational supply efforts, achieve production goals, optimize material usage, and oversee all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of the company’s supply, ensuring product, components, and materials are available in a timely manner and as needed.
  • Collaborates with and proactively communicates potential disruptions, opportunities, or other impactful Supply Chain events to functional areas and leaders to ensure alignment to achieve company goals.
  • Establishes KPIs and standards to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness; identifies opportunities for improvement and ensures effective resource utilization.
  • Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends to ensure best practices are in place, as well as staying aware of supplier risks and other supply chain disruptors to proactively adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements; advises management on needed actions.
  • Supports the development and implementation of the departmental budget while ensuring ongoing reporting to key financial targets and realignment when necessary.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or other relevant fields.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management
  • CSCP, CPIM, or similar APICS certification preferred


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Personal Characteristics:

  • Strong leadership, supervisory, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and prioritize multiple projects/tasks.
  • Ability to use various computer systems, including Microsoft Office, with high levels of proficiency
  • Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively in oral and written communication, including the ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts to other parts of the organization
  • Self-directed, resourceful, and able to problem-solve while making effective decisions within a team and individually
  • Commitment to complete work within established time parameters and within budget, while flexible enough to meet special project deadlines as required.
  • Follows policies and procedures; Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; Supports organization's goals and values.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee information in a confidential manner.


Food Safety & Quality Responsibilities:

  • Follow the proper handwashing, sanitization, cleanliness, dress, and grooming requirements.
  • Adhere to SQF, FSMA, Sanitation, GMP’s and HACCP requirements.
  • Follow the Company’s procedures and processes for food safety.


Office and manufacturing worksite locations in Muenster and Denton, TX with the ability to travel as required.
