Supply Chain Project Manager Overview The Supply Chain Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, executing, and reporting on critical supply chain projects. This position will work with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and ensure timely delivery of project objectives. Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Execution Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables for supply chain initiatives. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria. Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within scope and budget. Supply Chain Optimization Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs across the supply chain. Analyze data to uncover bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Lead initiatives on procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution optimization. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with procurement, logistics, operations, and finance teams to align project goals. Facilitate regular project meetings to ensure clear communication and accountability. Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related updates and issue resolution. Risk Management Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Track and address project risks and issues to minimize disruptions. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Performance Monitoring and Reporting Create and deliver regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to inform decisions. Document lessons learned and best practices for continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, or a related role. Lean 6-Sigma Blackbelt trained (preferred). Experience in managing large-scale supply chain projects, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar) and supply chain software (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, PowerBi or similar). In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution Strong MS-Office skills & experience Strong numerical & analytical skills Foundry Experience is a Plus Other Compensation & Benefits: Mueller offers an excellent salary and benefits package.
