Position Summary
Develop and manage strategic business plans and retail services for clients and customers that would include individual retail store and headquarter support calls within Target and UNFI Retailers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop relationships and working knowledge of both clients customers (Target and UNFI) businesses.
- Composes and produces business correspondence, reports, and related materials.
- Creates and maintains sales reports and goal initiatives for prospected customer base.
- Executes clients and customer presentations.
- Knowledge of clients and customer sales and industry trends.
- Develop annual and ongoing promotional planning for clients and customers (Target and UNFI).
- Maintain and collaborate with client’s promotional budgetary requirements as it relates to individual customers.
- Develops retail sales fliers for client focus items.
- Manages and develops clients and customer surveys using our retail survey platform.
- Develop customer show strategy, show setup and participation for clients.
- Organizes regular client, Target and UNFI meetings.
- Responsible for client’s contract fulfillment and meeting company sales goals.
- Generate contract agreements with clients.
- In conjunction with Marketing, assist with presentations for client focused meetings.
- Prioritize workload between Account Coordinators. Allowing sufficient time for completion of requested projects.
- Coordinate with Director of Sales the client Needs for retailer support to ensure optimal coverage.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent full-time work experience in related field
- Work experience in the grocery or convenience store industry preferred
- Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, proof of insurance, and acceptable driving record
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Able to work with multiple computer systems daily and multi-task.
