Mueller Refrigeration in Hartsville, TN has an immediate opening for a Material Handler in Receiving Department on Day Shift, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday-Friday, $18.37/Hour

The work of a Material Handler at Mueller Refrigeration is performed in an industrial manufacturing environment. Mueller Refrigeration is a manufacturer of HVAC/R components (valves, fitting, protection devices). Product range includes ball valves, pressure relief valves, check valves, manifolds, and filter driers, built to high industry standards. Products are shipped from Hartsville, TN to customers and distribution centers throughout the US and internationally.

What You'll Do

• Operate both standard and narrow aisle forklifts
• Transport materials and components to and from workstations
• Stock all components and material in an organized manner in assigned storage locations
• Prepare “kits” of components for assembly line jobs
• Load/unload trucks
• Assist with inventory and staging finished goods to be stocked in distribution warehouse

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to remain in a seated position while operating a forklift
• Ability to frequently step up onto, and step down from, a forklift
• Frequent lifting and moving cartons weighing up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally perform work in an environment that is not climate controlled, with high ambient temperatures and humidity levels during summer months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• Licensed to operate powered industrial trucks
• Previous experience in material handling, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Basic computer skills
