Must be available to work weekends and some holidays
Position Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. This role is key to creating a welcoming showroom environment, forming relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a desire for continued growth.
Job Responsibilities
Greet and welcome customers upon arrival.
Build lasting relationships—even with browsing customers.
Maintain a high-energy, professional sales presence.
Identify customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
Explain merchandise features, usage, care, and benefits.
Recommend and locate merchandise based on customer preferences.
Assist with furniture and design coordination.
Initiate and collect customer contact information for follow-up.
Keep a clean, organized, and detail-oriented workspace.
Close sales and support customers through purchasing, financing, delivery, and satisfaction.
Process and record payments accurately and attentively.
Follow up with customers through email, phone, and Greenboard.
Maintain a clean and inviting showroom environment.
Return samples and materials to designated locations after use.
Stay informed about design trends and current inventory.
Tag all floor merchandise with appropriate sale signage.
Answer phones, direct calls, and support team members and management as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education & Experience
High School Diploma required
1–3 years of sales experience (furniture sales preferred)

Polished, professional appearance
Detail-oriented with strong time management
Great listener with strong verbal and written communication
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and long hours
