JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Operations Manager – Line Sets
Reports To: General Manager
Location: Fulton, MS
Description: The Line Sets Operational Manager will lead all manufacturing, procurement, and strategic improvement initiatives within the organization. The role requires a strong team leader with a passion for problem solving, data analysis, and strategic thinking.
Responsibilities: Operational Efficiency: Drive operational efficiencies through fostering a culture of performance, continuous improvement and elimination of waste. Develop a road map for strategic deployment of capital to improve quality, reliability, and automation of manufacturing processes.
Materials Management: Manage critical suppliers through performance metrics, and continuously monitor inventory levels to meet market demands and budgetary goals.
Budget Management: Develop alongside management annual budgetary targets. Prepare KPIs to track performance against monthly and annual targets, and assume responsibility for all operating costs of the business.
Project Management: Collaborate with engineering and management to define opportunities for capital investment, and lead projects in support of driving operational reliability and automation of labor-intensive processes.
Needed for Success: Foundational knowledge of lean manufacturing; analytical decision-making; capability to collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Engineering, Maintenance, Safety and HR; ability to manage budgets and identify areas of opportunity.
Competencies: Strong Organization & Project Management Skills
Utilizing ERP & Manufacturing Systems
Ability to Work as Part of a Team & to Meet Deadlines
Creative Problem Solving & Strategic Vision
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field preferred
