Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
- Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area in accordance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while processing payments and giving correct change.
- Ensure adherence to food handling and food safety protocols during beverage preparation and food service.
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with food preparation, serving drinks, and managing customer inquiries promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving accurate change.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
