Description: The Sales Operations Coordinator will report into the VP of Sales and will play a critical role in supporting the Sales team, ensuring seamless operations that contribute to the overall success and efficiency of the sales department. This role will provide the opportunity for an ambitious professional to gain exposure to end-to-end Sales. The right person for this role will be a highly-motivated, entrepreneurial individual who is highly skilled in the details, capable of collaboration and individual contribution in a highly dynamic, start-up environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the customer onboarding process and new item setup, including UPC creations and the cross-functional coordination of inputs needed to complete the required data entry
- Assist the Sales team in ensuring the organization’s CRM tool is up to date
- Maintain key Sales department files (accounts, review calendars, key contacts, reports, etc.)
- Distribute product information and assets to brokers/distributors in a timely manner
- Manage sample requests and follow through on shipping as needed, delivering excellent customer service
- Manage trade show logistics, follow-up materials, and participate in relevant shows as a representative of the brand
- Organize the Sales drive and all the associated folders
- Manage and fulfill direct customer orders through the company’s B2B and DTC platforms
- Assist with preparing presentations and various other sales material / assets
- Support meeting planning and line review prep
- Support special projects and various other duties as needed
Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, required
- 1-3 years’ of Sales Operations experience in the Consumer Products industry, Food & Beverage preferred
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Quick learner and dynamic problem solver who is able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, while adapting to challenges in a fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial thinker with a self-start mentality
- Strong sense of urgency and time management amidst competing demands
- Transparent communicator, great listener who has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive energy, can-do attitude, and team player
- Resourceful, adaptable and strong willingness to learn
- Must be able work independently and take directions well
- Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills
- Proficient in Windows Suite, specifically Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
