What are the responsibilities and job description for the Book-keeper position at Mucky Duck Pub?
Position - Bookkeeper Pay - Negotiable (depending on experience) Part time position 75% Work at home with one meeting per week onsite We are looking for someone that is experienced with QuickBooks, the POS system Toast and managing books for a restaurant-type business. We prefer candidates with at least two of these qualifications. The job includes but is not limited to; Tracking cash deposits for each day, comparing those to our POS system Toast and making reports to show this is being maintained and all deposits are being accounted for and are accurate. Reconciling the bank accounts every month in QuickBooks and ensuring each transaction is categorized correctly and accounted for. Ensuring all checks that are written are properly classified. Creating P&L reports for the management team to review and be able to participate in a discussion on improvements that need to be made. Any tasks required of this position will be time sensitive and must be done routinely on a monthly or biweekly basis. Much of the work can be done at home but we would like weekly meetings in person that may last a couple of hours. The day/time of these meetings is negotiable.
