- Provide leadership and mentoring to other IT Application Support Analyst, and IT Support Technicians including Coordinating and reviewing the work of others, training, and coaching.
- Facilitating problem solving through best practices.
- Resolve complex hardware and software malfunctions.
- Schedule and facilitate end user training.
- Schedule and facilitate application testing and validation.
- Integrate and interface hardware or software.
- Make technical presentations internally and to outside departments.
- Determine performance, capacity, and utilization for system components.
- Assist in planning migrations to new or improved hardware and software products.
- Monitor application changes and additions to the systems.
- Monitor service levels.
- Monitor vendor remote access.
- Monitor access of secure IT locations to ensure IT policies and procedures are followed.
- Research new or updated technology.
- Act as liaison between IT Operations and other functional units for escalation purposes.
- Create, maintain, and facilitates a positive and safe work environment; promote positive team member relations and reports issues to appropriate personnel.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- A Bachelor’s degree (Preferred in Engineering, IS or Technical Degree). Three (3) additional years of Application Support related experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.
- Three (3) years of on-the-job experience in a technical field.
- Industry specific knowledge of products utilized in Hotel Management, Gaming, Finance and Food & Beverage preferred.
