- Proven experience in construction estimating, budgeting, and preconstruction leadership.
- The ability to translate complex plans and data into clear, actionable strategies.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
- A collaborative leadership style rooted in integrity, accountability, and optimism.
- Technical mastery of preconstruction software and project scheduling tools.
- A natural curiosity and desire to innovate, improve, and deliver excellence.
- Leadership, Honesty, Loyalty Work Ethic.
- Four-year bachelor’s degree (or) commensurate experience in construction science/management or construction engineering.
- Eight or more years of experience estimating commercial construction projects in the $5M to $50M project size range.
- Ability to analyze and interpret drawings and specifications.
- General knowledge of construction principles and processes.
- High level conceptual estimating ability.
- Ability to manage a design to a budget.
- Ability to multitask and meet simultaneous deliverables.
- Expertise in the procurement of construction work.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficient with appropriate software.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to varied audiences.
- Strong presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction principles/practices required.
