Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented HR Generalist with a strong experience on Employee Relations (ER) to join our growing team. This role will support day-to-day HR operations while leading employee relations initiatives, including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and employee engagement programs.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating sensitive employee matters while promoting a positive and compliant work environment.
Responsibilities:
🔹 Employee Relations & Investigations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and workplace concerns
- Conduct and support internal investigations (e.g., employee complaints, misconduct, policy violations)
- Document investigation findings and provide recommendations in alignment with company policies and employment laws
- Partner with managers to address performance issues and employee concerns
🔹 Employee Engagement
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and activities (e.g., events, surveys, recognition programs)
- Support initiatives to improve employee satisfaction, retention, and workplace culture
- Analyze feedback from engagement surveys and recommend actionable improvements
🔹 HR Operations (Generalist Scope)
- Support HR policies, procedures, and compliance efforts
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support organizational needs
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2–5 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on Employee Relations
• Hands-on experience conducting workplace investigations; experience in the construction industry is preferred
• Experience organizing or supporting employee engagement programs or initiatives
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
