What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor position at MTZ Farm Labor Contractor?
Agriculture Supervisor
working with a variety of crops in the woodland, ca area
Qualifications:
Experienced leading farm labor crew in multiple locations at a time
Basic computer skills such as use of ipad, or programs such as excel and word
Speaking, writing, ready and communication in English and Spanish are required
Ability to train and coach crew leads and crew members
Knowledge of OSHA requirements of Ag-field operations
Hold a pesticide applicator certificate (PAC) or willing to get one within first 3 months of starting the job
Must be core member of the pesticide applicator team and comply with both state and federal law.
Experienced in forklift, tractor, trailer towing and agricultural equipment operations
Experienced in crop seed production operations
Understanding of field and equipment sanitation
Job Safety Analysis (JSA) development, review and maintenance
Ability to work longer hours in the summer time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 56.0 per week
