Overview
We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher to handle the daily operations of a fast-paced DSP. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing supervisors and delivery associates, ensuring safety and compliance, and driving operational performance through effective leadership and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience in logistics, transportation, or last-mile delivery who can thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and delivery associates.
- Oversee daily dispatch and delivery operations to ensure efficiency and service excellence.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including safety, productivity, attendance, and quality.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and employee performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and DSP operating standards.
- Coordinate fleet readiness and vehicle maintenance.
- Analyze operational data and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
Qualifications
- 1 years of management experience in a DSP, logistics, transportation, distribution, or warehouse environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience managing operational KPIs and driving performance improvements.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
