Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Aircraft Disassembly Mechanics to ensure a high level of employee morale and Shop Quality while maintaining productivity
- Ensure Aircraft Disassembly is done in a safe manner
- Mentor employees on best mechanical practices and Quality Processes
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Aircraft Disassembly Department
- Manage the balance of priorities for incoming aircraft pending disassembly, Part Removal requests, and normal planned Aircraft parts processing.
- High school diploma or GED required bachelor’s degree preferred
- Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record are required
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and background screening
- At least two years of experience supervising Mechanics is required. Experience as an A&P Mechanic is preferred but not required.
