Foreman/Supervisor

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Telecommunications Foreman to lead our field crews. As a foreman, you will oversee aerial and underground fiber-optic construction activities, ensure the quality and safety of all work performed, and serve as the primary on-site point of contact for project management and client coordination.

-Key Responsibilities-

• Lead and supervise crew members in the construction, installation, repair, and maintenance of fiber-optic telecommunications networks
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and project specifications
• Provide daily direction, assign tasks, and coordinate workflow to maximize productivity
• Conduct site assessments to identify hazards, plan work methods, and implement appropriate safety measures (including manhole and road safety)Read, interpret, and communicate engineering plans, construction prints, and project documentation
• Troubleshoot issues in the field and provide effective solutions to keep projects on schedule
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and work completed
• Operate and oversee the safe use of hand tools, cable-placing equipment, reel trailers, bucket trucks and other job equipment
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and clients to ensure work meets quality and performance standards
• Train and mentor crew members to support skill development and crew efficiency

-Qualifications-

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation required
• Previous experience as a telecommunications foreman or senior lineman with leadership responsibilities
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and lift/carry equipment as required
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of aerial and underground fiber-optic construction and safety practices OSHA 10 Certification and Confined Space Training preferred
• Ability to read and understand engineering plans, construction prints, and industry specifications
• Proven ability to manage crews and maintain project timelines
• Commercial vehicles and tools are provided for all job-related work

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
