Key Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage for team members on the paint line, stepping into roles as needed to maintain production flow.
- Assist with loading and unloading parts onto racks and ensuring proper alignment for coating.
- Perform basic surface preparation such as masking, sanding, and cleaning components before painting.
- Inspect painted parts for defects such as runs, sags, orange peel, or overspray, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Follow all safety procedures, hazardous material handling guidelines, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team leads, supervisors, and coworkers to ensure a smooth transition between roles.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality in the paint department.
- 1 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, paint line operations, or related roles.
- Knowledge of paint application processes, coatings, and curing techniques preferred.
- Ability to operate various paint line equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify paint defects and quality issues.

- Ability to work overtime and various shifts as needed.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
