As a Sales Associate, you will interact with customers to help guide them in their vehicle purchase by understanding their needs and interests, maintaining a good client database, meeting new customers, coordinating test drives, assisting with trade-in value, and negotiating vehicle costs.

Responsibilities:
- Convert showroom visitors into customers by understanding their needs and interests, while matching them to the most appropriate vehicle
- Set monthly goals at the beginning of the month
- Understand the characteristics, capabilities and features of all inventories and provide the customer with detailed information, including comparing different competitive models
- Accompany customers on test drives and demonstrate vehicle features
- Build rapport with potential customers to improve the possibility of a sale in the future
- Maintain a customer database and communicate with them as appropriate
- Assist customers with completing the relevant paperwork required for a successful sale to be processed
- Collaborate with team members to reach sales targets and goals
- Aid with sourcing, auctions, and trades for our used vehicle inventory
- Work with management in ensuring that the lot is properly merchandised to optimize sales
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous automotive sales experience is a PLUS
- Professional appearance, friendly manner, and positive attitude
- Ability to be competitive while maintain the client’s best interests
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Capability of learning and using Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales program
- Passion for sales and customer satisfaction
- Valid driver’s license, satisfactory background check results and clean driving record
