Verification Specialist

What will your job look like? The Verification Specialist will make timely and accurate decisions to initiate payments to recipients and Providers. In addition, the Verification Specialist will also enter Gas Log, Driver, Provider and Meals/Lodging data before approving trips for payment. Must reside in Central or Eastern Time Zones for this position. The schedule will be Monday-Friday 8am -5pm cst. What you’ll do: Document detailed information in database Verify pickup and drop-off times in database Enter all Trip logs and information Based upon obtained data, determine if trip is eligible for payment Drive high client satisfaction through accurate and timely claims processing Approve or deny trip signatures Comply with established departmental metrics Report Possible Fraud, Waste and Abuse to Department Leadership Provide Support by Acting as Backup to Other Claims Processes What you’ll need: Experience, Education & Certifications: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent Skills: Strong organizational skills Ability to tactfully question and obtain required information Ability to make solid judgment calls Ability to handle claims appropriately and professionally Exemplary communication skills Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality Knowledgeable about Multiple Claims Processes and Applications Ability to keep information protected by conforming to MTM’s HIPAA standards Even better if you have...
