Job Summary
The Supply Chain Master Scheduler is responsible for supporting the extended MTM team by owning the scheduling function from commercialization to delivery. The role creates, manages, and communicates the production schedule. The Master Scheduler works closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, and Purchasing teams to balance customer demand with factory capacity and inventory levels.
Progressive Responsibilities
Initial Duties:
- Master Production Scheduling: Translate customer sales orders and stock sales forecasts into realistic weekly, and monthly production plans.
- MRP Systems Maintenance: Utilize MTM ERP software and tools to manage planning data, track WIP, and process order releases.
- Work Order Management: Create and manage custom work orders for the fabrication department.
- Capacity & Order Lead-Time Planning: Analyze order build tooling, labor, and MRP lead-times to balance production requirements against capacity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead planning meetings and act as the central liaison between engineering, supply chain, operations, and sales teams.
Intermediate Duties:
- Higher degree of proficiency in all aspects of duties outlined above.
- Reviews and interprets information provided by Engineering (BOM and trailer material structure) for correctness, adjusts parameters, and product set up to ensure accurate structure and workflow in Acumatica.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts caused by equipment downtime, material shortages, engineering, or sales changes.
Advanced Duties:
- Higher degree of proficiency in all aspects of duties outlined above.
- Build extended manufacturing and capacity plans, identifying risk, and communicating strategy recommendations across SIOP horizons.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, or inventory control within a manufacturing, or production environment is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with MRP systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as engineering drawings, blueprints, sales orders, and work orders.
- Knowledge of supply chain and trailer build manufacturing desired.
- Knowledge of key MRP concepts including lead times, back flushing, and stocking types desired.
- Knowledge of key BOM structure concepts desired.
- Knowledge of shop floor work orders, routings, work centers desired.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills desired.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
