Scrap Metal Trader

Overview
We are looking for a scrap metal/e-waste trader. The Trader is responsible for the sourcing, buying, and selling of metals, e-waste and reusable electronics. This role requires a deep understanding of global metals and e-waste markets, strong supplier and customer relationship management skills, and the ability to make timely, strategic trading decisions to maintain relationship with partners and drive business growth. We will share profit with the Trader.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing a portfolio of suppliers and buyers for recycled metal material, E-Waste and reusable electronics.
• Sourcing materials domestically and/or internationally and negotiate terms of sale or purchase
• Executing trades with full ownership of pricing, logistics coordination, risk management, and compliance
• Building long-term relationships with scrap yards, smelters, brokers, and industrial end-users
• Collaborating with logistics, operations, finance, and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution of deals
• Maintaining accurate records of trading activity and client interactions in ERP systems
• Preparing and deliver internal reports on trade performance, margins, and market forecasts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally to visit customers.
• Experience in commodities trading and international trading.
• Knowledge of commodity markets, materials value, and logistic
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Skill to use all type office software and IT tools to manage daily work.
