MTK Healthcare is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Nursery for a 13-week contract at a respected community hospital in DeRidder, Louisiana.
Job Details
- Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Nursery
- Location: DeRidder, LA
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to newborns in the nursery.
- Assess, monitor, and document infant conditions.
- Assist with newborn stabilization and routine care following delivery.
- Educate and support parents on newborn care and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR.
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 4 years of Nursery RN experience
- Current BLS Certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
- Must be eligible to work through a Joint Commission-accredited staffing agency
- Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility
