Contract Length: 26 Weeks (Potential Extension/Permanent Opportunity)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Day Shift
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Pay: Up to $6,000 per Week

Job Overview

MTK Healthcare Inc. is seeking an experienced Interim System Director of Pharmacy / Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead pharmacy operations at a leading acute care hospital in Bozeman, Montana. This executive leadership role will oversee both hospital and retail pharmacy operations while leading two key strategic initiatives: expansion of the ambulatory infusion center and implementation of a new 340B Third-Party Administrator (TPA) software platform.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Montana Pharmacist License or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity
• Minimum 5 years of hospital pharmacy leadership experience in an acute care setting
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Director or Assistant Director
• Proven experience managing a 340B Program, including at least one TPA software implementation
• Experience overseeing sterile compounding infusion center expansion
• Ability to serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) upon start

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the hospital and retail pharmacy
• Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage pharmacy staff, scheduling, budgeting, inventory, and formulary operations
• Maintain compliance with USP <795>, USP <797>, USP <800>, CMS, DNV, and Montana Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Lead implementation of a new 340B TPA software platform
• Expand and optimize the hospital's 340B program
• Oversee ambulatory infusion center expansion, including workflow design and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with clinical, finance, engineering, and executive leadership teams
