Job Title: QA Contractor (Manual / Automated / Hybrid)

Location: Remote / Hybrid – Omaha, NE

Contract Duration: 3 Months (Potential Extension)

Pay Rate: $45.00 – $54.00 per hour

Job Overview

MTK Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated QA Contractor to join an engineering team during a critical phase of product development. This role will play an important role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and user experience of an enterprise software platform.

The selected candidate will immediately integrate into active Agile sprint cycles and be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying and documenting software defects, validating releases, and collaborating with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation test scripts using BrowserStack Lowcode Automation.
• Execute existing automated test scripts and analyze results.
• Learn product ecosystem and create comprehensive test cases for:
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Integration Testing
• System Testing
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects with:
• Clear reproduction steps
• Logs
• Screenshots
• Video evidence
• Track defects using FreshService and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UI/UX teams to understand requirements and validate fixes.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing across:
• Web
• iOS
• Android
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, testing reviews, and production deployment support.
• Provide final quality validation and release sign-off.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of software Quality Assurance experience.
• Experience in contract, consulting, or fast-paced software development environments preferred.

Testing & SDLC Knowledge

• Strong understanding of:
• Software Testing Methodologies
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Agile/Scrum Frameworks

Defect Tracking Tools

• FreshService
• Azure DevOps

API Testing

• Postman

Database Testing

• Strong SQL experience
• Azure SQL data validation
• Database load testing

Automation Testing

• BrowserStack Lowcode Automation
• Selenium
• Playwright
• ADA Accessibility Testing

CI/CD & Performance Testing

• Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipeline
• JMeter or similar performance/load testing tools

Scripting

• Hands-on experience with Python scripting
