Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Hillside, IL, for an Architectural Drafter. The role involves preparing detailed architectural and construction drawings, interpreting architectural designs, and ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and standards. The drafter will collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to translate concepts into precise technical drawings, contributing to the successful execution of structural and ornamental metal, glazing, and renovation projects.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating architectural drawings and construction drawings
- Strong understanding of architectural concepts and planning processes
- Ability to interpret and translate designs into detailed technical drawings
- Experience with industry-standard drafting software such as AutoCAD or similar
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all drafting work
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Effective teamwork and communication abilities
- Bachelor's degree or certification in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field is preferred
