Bilingual Recruiter (English/Spanish) - Light Industrial Staffing
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused Bilingual Recruiter (English/Spanish) to join our staffing team. This role is responsible for recruiting, screening, hiring, and onboarding qualified candidates for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire opportunities across the light industrial sector, including logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, oil & gas support services, distribution, production, and skilled trades.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships with both clients and candidates, and has a proven ability to fill high-volume positions while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Source, recruit, and interview candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
- Conduct phone screens, in-person interviews, and skill assessments.
- Verify work history, references, and employment eligibility.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Manage high-volume recruiting for industrial and skilled labor positions.
Client & Customer Service
- Serve as a point of contact between clients and employees.
- Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and client representatives.
- Understand client workforce needs and staffing requirements.
- Provide timely updates regarding recruiting efforts, candidate availability, and fill rates.
- Resolve employee and client concerns professionally and efficiently.
Employee Relations & Onboarding
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires.
- Explain company policies, attendance expectations, and safety procedures.
- Conduct regular follow-up with placed associates and client supervisors.
- Manage attendance tracking, employee retention efforts, and redeployment activities.
Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and staffing software.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Monitor candidate availability and workforce scheduling needs.
- Assist with payroll verification, timekeeping issues, and employment documentation.
Qualifications
Required
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- 2 years of recruiting, staffing, customer service, or workforce management experience.
- Experience recruiting for one or more of the following industries:
- Logistics
- Warehousing
- Manufacturing
- Distribution
- Oil & Gas support operations
- Production and assembly
- Skilled trades
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- 3-5 years of staffing industry experience.
- Experience supporting high-volume industrial clients.
- Knowledge of workforce scheduling and labor management practices.
- Familiarity with Avionté, or similar platforms.
