Why This Role Matters
As a Product Owner, you will play a critical role in executing the roadmap for MTech’s Amino Swine platform. This is an execution‑focused product role, not a technical engineering or feature‑only PM position.
You’ll serve as the delivery arm, owning backlog execution, translating customer needs into actionable work, and partnering closely with Engineering and cross‑functional teams to deliver impactful solutions to the global swine industry.
Your work will directly influence how producers manage operations and how efficiently MTech delivers mission‑critical software at scale.

What You’ll Do (Job Summary)
- Own and manage the product backlog aligned to the Swine roadmap
- Execute roadmap milestones defined by the Product Manager
- Partner closely with Engineering, Data, AI, Mobile, and Finance product teams
- Translate customer workflows and business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria
- Gather customer feedback and data to represent the Voice of the Customer
- Communicate priorities, progress, and trade‑offs clearly to product leadership and executives
- Support delivery ceremonies including grooming, planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery of product initiatives
What You Bring (Required)
- 5 years of experience as a Product Owner in execution‑focused product roles
- Experience in SaaS or B2B software environments
- Proven experience managing backlogs and delivering roadmap initiatives
- Strong customer research, requirements gathering, and feedback synthesis skills
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfort working cross‑functionally in Agile product and engineering environments
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, complex domains
Ideal Candidate Has the Following (Nice to Have)
- Exposure to agriculture, AgTech, livestock, or other specialized industries
- Familiarity with AI‑enabled product workflows or modern product tooling
- Experience supporting products used in operationally critical environments
