Job Summary
MTech Mechanical is a leading mechanical design/build contractor in Colorado, and the majority of our project procurement is negotiated in a design assist/build arrangement. Operate Autocad and/or Revit with Autodesk Fabrication to prepare detailed HVAC and Plumbing models and drawings for fabrication and installation.
A successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Fabrication ITM Development: Create and maintain custom Fabrication CADmep ITM content, including ductwork, piping, plumbing, and equipment.
- Data QA/QC & Integration: Import and validate data across multiple fabrication databases. Perform QA/QC checks to ensure functionality and compliance with project and shop standards.
- Revit Family Management: Develop Revit families and maintain type catalogs to align with fabrication content and project requirements.
- Connector & Configuration Setup: Build and manage vendor-specific connectors, ancillaries, and system configurations for consistent team-wide application.
- Support & Documentation: Provide internal support and maintain documentation for content deployment, standards, and updates.
Qualified candidates will possess the following education and experience:
- 1 year work experience creating detailed fabrication and installation drawings.
- Knowledge of Fabrication CADmep / ESTmep and database/ITM functionality.
- GED/High School diploma required, 2-year degree preferred.
- AutoCAD experience preferred but not required
- Revit and Navisworks knowledge preferred but not required
- Must be self-motivated and work well in a team environment
- Must be attentive to detail and WQAQC practices for self-performed work.
- General computer software knowledge, including Microsoft Office, Word, Xcel and Bluebeam
