As our next CNC Production Setup Machinist on 2nd Shift, your expertise will turn blueprints into mission-critical parts—every dimension, every tolerance, every time.
Your Mission
- Translate engineering drawings into machine-ready dimensions and setups
- Set up and operate CNC equipment for drilling, milling, grinding, and turning
- Read and apply blueprints with keyways for shaft production
- Monitor cycles, adjust tooling/offsets, and maintain process stability
- Verify accuracy and consistency through thorough inspection
- Execute basic preventive maintenance to sustain performance
- Flawless interpretation of blueprints, gauges, and keyway specs
- Consistent part quality backed by precise metrology and gauge use
- Efficient setups and changeovers that keep production moving
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of CNC/manufacturing experience
- Preferred background with lathes and/or horizontal mills
- Detail orientation and strong problem-solving instincts
- Ability to excel independently and collaborate within a team
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting
