Position Overview:
MTD Property Maintenance is seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to assist with site work, excavation, and general construction operations. This position plays a key role in supporting daily field activities and ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with excavation, grading, and site preparation
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, shoveling, raking, and material handling
- Support pipe installation, drainage work, and utility operations
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Complete daily work reports and assist with basic documentation
- Work alongside operators and crew members to keep projects moving efficiently
Requirements:
- OSHA 10 Certification (REQUIRED)
- Valid Driver’s License (REQUIRED)
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
- Construction or site work experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
