Role Description The Reliability Engineer will perform reliability and maintainability analyses for military and space systems, including modeling, prediction, and assessment of system performance and lifecycle behavior. This full-time on site role is based in Huntsville, AL, and involves close collaboration with engineering, logistics, and software teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting failure analysis and root cause investigations, developing reliability-centered maintenance plans, and supporting troubleshooting efforts for complex systems. The Reliability Engineer will prepare technical reports, reliability metrics, and documentation to support design reviews, qualification activities, and customer presentations. The role also entails using analytical tools and industry standards to improve system reliability, optimize maintenance strategies, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for data analysis, modeling, and interpretation of reliability and performance metrics.
- Experience or knowleedge of Failure Analysis and root cause investigation for hardware, software, or integrated systems.
- Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance principles and application to maintenance planning and optimization.
- Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing system issues and supporting corrective actions in complex technical environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Systems) or a related technical field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Familiarity with military or aerospace standards and reliability tools (e.g., FMEA, FMECA, fault tree analysis) preferred.
- Effective communication skills for preparing clear documentation and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage priorities independently, and maintain attention to detail.
- U.S. work authorization; eligibility for relevant security clearances may be required depending on project needs.
