What You’ll Do:
As a key member of our administrative care team, you will:
- Coordinate and secure prior authorizations for medications, imaging, and procedures
- Manage all outgoing referrals to specialists, ensuring timely follow-up and complete documentation
- Work closely with providers and insurance companies to streamline care and avoid delays
- Respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and compassion
- Maintain accurate records in our electronic medical record (eClinicalWorks) system
- Protect patient confidentiality and stay up to date on changing insurance guidelines
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in prior authorizations or referral coordination (family practice preferred)
- Strong understanding of insurance verification and managed care
- Proficient in EMR use (eClinicalWorks experience a plus)
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and patient privacy protocols
